hCG Dose Calculator Guide

1. Syringe Type

What it is: This field allows you to select the type of syringe you are using for your hCG injections.

How it works: Syringes come in different volumes (measured in milliliters, mL). Selecting the correct syringe type ensures that the calculator can determine the correct amount of liquid (hCG) to draw based on the syringe size.

Options:

  • 1 mL
  • 3 mL
  • 5 mL
  • 10 mL

Why it matters: The syringe type affects how much solution is drawn per injection, and it helps the calculator provide accurate drawing instructions based on the syringe scale.

2. Total hCG Amount (IU)

What it is: This field is where you enter the total amount of hCG (in International Units, IU) present in the vial.

How it works: The hCG vial label indicates the total amount of hCG (in IU). This value helps the calculator determine the concentration of the solution when combined with bacteriostatic water.

Example: If your vial contains 5,000 IU of hCG, you would enter in this field: 5000

3. Desired hCG Dosage (IU per injection)

What it is: This field is where you enter the desired dosage of hCG for each injection (in IU).

How it works: By entering the IU amount for each injection, the calculator determines how much of the solution needs to be drawn for each injection.

Example: If you are supposed to inject 500 IU per injection, you would enter here: 500

4. Bacteriostatic Water (mL)

What it is: This field is where you enter the total amount of bacteriostatic water (in milliliters) that you used to mix with the hCG powder.

How it works: Bacteriostatic water is used to reconstitute the hCG powder. The amount of water you used determines the concentration of hCG (IU/mL) in the solution.

Example: If you used 5 mL of bacteriostatic water, you would enter in this field: 5

5. Injections per Week

What it is: This field is for the number of injections you take per week.

How it works: Some protocols may require multiple injections per week. By entering the number of injections, the calculator will divide your total weekly dosage accordingly.

Example: If you inject twice a week, you would enter here: 2

How the Calculator Uses These Fields:

Once you enter the values for these fields, the calculator performs the following calculations:

  1. Concentration: The calculator divides the total hCG amount by the amount of bacteriostatic water to calculate the concentration of the solution (in IU/mL).
  2. Volume per Injection: It calculates the volume of liquid you need to inject by dividing the desired dosage by the concentration.
  3. Syringe Tick Marks: Based on the syringe size and the volume per injection, the calculator determines how many tick marks (units) to draw up on the syringe for each injection.

By filling out each field correctly, the calculator will give you accurate dosage information and syringe instructions for your hCG injections.
