How the Premix Calculator Works

The Premix Calculator (2 Stroke) helps you calculate the proper relationship between fuel and 2-stroke oil using a specified fuel-to-oil ratio such as 20:1, 25:1, 32:1, 40:1, or 50:1.

The calculator works in both directions. You can enter an amount of fuel and calculate how much 2-stroke oil is required, or enter an amount of oil and calculate how much fuel can be mixed with it.

1. Enter the Fuel-to-Oil Mix Ratio

Start by entering the fuel-to-oil ratio required by your engine or equipment.

For example:

• 20 means a 20:1 fuel-to-oil ratio
• 25 means a 25:1 ratio
• 32 means a 32:1 ratio
• 40 means a 40:1 ratio
• 50 means a 50:1 ratio

A 50:1 ratio means that approximately 50 parts of fuel are mixed with 1 part of 2-stroke oil by volume.

Do not choose a ratio simply because it is commonly used. Always check the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific engine.

2. Choose Fuel → Oil Mode

Select Fuel → Oil when you know how much fuel you have and want to determine how much 2-stroke oil should correspond to that fuel volume at the selected ratio.

For example, if you select:

• Ratio: 50:1
• Fuel: 1 liter

the basic calculation is:

1 L ÷ 50 = 0.02 L of oil

Because:

0.02 L = 20 mL

the calculator will show approximately:

20 mL of oil

The result is also displayed in liters and US fluid ounces for convenience.

3. Choose Oil → Fuel Mode

Select Oil → Fuel when you already know the amount of 2-stroke oil available and want to calculate the corresponding fuel volume for your selected mix ratio.

Enter the oil amount in milliliters.

For example, with:

• Ratio: 50:1
• Oil: 20 mL

the calculator first converts:

20 mL = 0.02 L

and then calculates:

0.02 L × 50 = 1 L of fuel

The result is displayed in either liters or US gallons depending on your selected unit.

4. Enter the Fuel Volume

When Fuel → Oil mode is selected, enter the amount of fuel you plan to mix.

The unit displayed beside Fuel Volume changes according to your Units selection.

You can use:

• Liters (L)
• US Gallons

If you change between liters and US gallons after entering a fuel amount, the calculator converts the existing value rather than simply treating the same number as a different unit.

For example:

1 liter ≈ 0.264172 US gallons

5. Enter the Oil Volume

When Oil → Fuel mode is selected, enter the amount of 2-stroke oil in:

milliliters (mL)

The calculator converts this value to liters internally before applying the selected fuel-to-oil ratio.

6. Select Liters or US Gallons

The Units control determines which fuel-volume unit is used.

Select:

Liters

for metric fuel measurements.

Select:

US Gallons

for US liquid gallons.

The calculator uses the conversion:

1 US gallon = 3.78541 liters

This is specifically a US liquid gallon, not an Imperial gallon.

7. Select Decimal Precision

The Decimal Precision setting controls how many decimal places are displayed in calculated results.

Available settings are:

• 0 decimal places
• 1 decimal place
• 2 decimal places
• 3 decimal places

Two decimal places are selected by default.

Increasing the precision can be useful when working with smaller fuel or oil quantities.

For extremely small positive results that would otherwise round completely to zero, the calculator may display a value such as:

<0.01

instead of misleadingly displaying the amount as exactly zero.

8. Tap Calculate

After entering your ratio and fuel or oil amount, select:

Calculate

The result depends on the selected mode.

In Fuel → Oil mode, the calculator displays:

• Oil required in liters
• Oil required in milliliters
• Oil required in US fluid ounces

In Oil → Fuel mode, the calculator displays the amount of fuel corresponding to the entered oil volume and selected ratio.

9. Fuel → Oil Formula

When calculating oil from fuel, the basic formula is:

Oil Volume = Fuel Volume ÷ Mix Ratio

For example:

5 L ÷ 50 = 0.1 L oil

Converting liters of oil to milliliters:

0.1 × 1000 = 100 mL oil

Therefore:

5 liters of fuel at 50:1 requires 100 mL of oil.

10. Oil → Fuel Formula

When calculating fuel from a known amount of oil, the formula is:

Fuel Volume = Oil Volume × Mix Ratio

Because the calculator accepts oil in milliliters, it first converts the oil amount to liters:

Oil liters = Oil mL ÷ 1000

For example:

125 mL ÷ 1000 = 0.125 L

At a 40:1 ratio:

0.125 × 40 = 5 L fuel

So 125 mL of oil corresponds to approximately 5 liters of fuel at a 40:1 ratio.

11. Understanding Common Premix Ratios

The required premix ratio varies by engine design, manufacturer, model, operating conditions, and oil specification.

A larger ratio number means proportionally less oil is used.

For example, for the same amount of fuel:

• A 25:1 mixture contains more oil than a 50:1 mixture
• A 32:1 mixture contains more oil than a 40:1 mixture
• A 40:1 mixture contains more oil than a 50:1 mixture

This does not mean that a higher or lower ratio is automatically better. The correct ratio is the one specified for the engine and oil being used.

12. Example: 50:1 Premix

Suppose you have:

5 liters of fuel

and your equipment requires:

50:1

The calculation is:

5 ÷ 50 = 0.1 L oil

Then:

0.1 L × 1000 = 100 mL oil

Your calculated result is therefore:

100 mL of 2-stroke oil

for 5 liters of fuel at a 50:1 ratio.

13. Example: 40:1 Premix

Suppose you have:

5 liters of fuel

and the manufacturer specifies:

40:1

The calculation is:

5 ÷ 40 = 0.125 L

or:

125 mL of oil

The difference between 40:1 and 50:1 is significant enough that you should not substitute one ratio for another without checking the equipment manufacturer’s specifications.

14. Example Using US Gallons

Suppose you enter:

1 US gallon

of fuel with a:

50:1

ratio.

The calculator first converts the gallon to liters:

1 × 3.78541 = 3.78541 L

Then:

3.78541 ÷ 50 = 0.0757082 L oil

Converting to milliliters:

0.0757082 × 1000 ≈ 75.71 mL

So one US gallon of fuel at a 50:1 ratio corresponds to approximately:

75.71 mL of oil

15. Copy Results

After a successful calculation, the Copy Results button appears.

Select it to copy the displayed result to your device’s clipboard.

This makes it easier to paste your premix calculation into notes, messages, maintenance records, or another app.

If direct clipboard access is unavailable in the browser, the calculator attempts to use a fallback copying method.

16. Save a Premix Calculation

After calculating a valid mixture, select:

Save

to store the calculation in your browser.

Saved information can include:

• Fuel-to-oil ratio
• Calculation mode
• Fuel or oil input
• Selected fuel unit
• Decimal precision
• Calculated result
• Date and time saved

Saved calculations are stored locally in the browser using local storage.

They are not automatically synchronized between different devices or browsers.

17. Saved Premix Calculations

The Saved Premix Calculations panel lets you keep multiple calculations for later reference.

Select:

Show

to display the saved calculations.

Select:

Hide

to collapse the list.

The calculator remembers whether you previously left this list open or closed when browser storage is available.

18. Load a Saved Calculation

Each saved entry includes a:

Load

button.

Selecting Load restores the saved:

• Ratio
• Mode
• Fuel or oil amount
• Unit
• Precision

The calculator then recalculates the result using those restored values.

19. Delete Saved Calculations

Each saved calculation has its own:

Delete

button.

Use it to remove only that particular saved entry.

When saved calculations exist, a:

Clear all

button is also available for removing all saved premix calculations stored by the calculator.

20. Reset the Calculator

Select:

Reset

to restore the calculator to its default state.

The default settings are:

• Ratio: 50:1
• Mode: Fuel → Oil
• Units: Liters
• Decimal precision: 2

Resetting the current calculator inputs does not automatically delete calculations that you previously saved.

21. Why the Correct Premix Ratio Matters

Two-stroke engines depend on oil mixed with the fuel for lubrication.

Using an incorrect mixture may contribute to problems such as:

• Poor engine performance
• Excessive smoke
• Spark plug fouling
• Carbon deposits
• Insufficient lubrication
• Accelerated engine wear
• Potential engine damage

The calculator only performs the mathematical conversion. It cannot determine which ratio your engine requires.

22. Always Check the Manufacturer’s Specification

Do not assume that every 2-stroke engine uses 50:1.

How the Confidence Interval Calculator Works

A confidence interval gives you an estimated range of plausible values for a population parameter based on information collected from a sample. This calculator specifically calculates a confidence interval for a population mean.

To calculate the interval, enter the sample mean, standard deviation, sample size, and desired confidence level. You must also tell the calculator whether the standard deviation is the known population standard deviation (σ) or a standard deviation calculated from your sample (s).

1. Enter the Sample Mean (x̄)

4. Sample Standard Deviation (s)

Choose Sample s when the population standard deviation is unknown and you are using the standard deviation calculated from your sample.

The calculator then uses the Student’s t-distribution.

• t* = Student’s t critical value
• s = sample standard deviation
• n = sample size

The appropriate t critical value depends on both the confidence level and the sample size.

5. Degrees of Freedom

When Sample s is selected, the calculator uses:

df = n − 1

where df means degrees of freedom.

For example, if:

n = 30

then:

df = 30 − 1 = 29

The calculator automatically determines the appropriate Student’s t critical value using those degrees of freedom.

Because at least two observations are needed to meaningfully calculate a sample standard deviation, Sample s requires:

n ≥ 2

6. Enter the Standard Deviation

Enter either the population standard deviation σ or sample standard deviation s, depending on the option selected.

Standard deviation measures how spread out observations are around the mean.

A smaller standard deviation generally produces a narrower confidence interval when the other inputs remain unchanged.

A larger standard deviation generally produces a wider confidence interval.

The calculator also supports a standard deviation of:

If the standard deviation is zero, the standard error and margin of error are also zero, producing an interval whose lower and upper bounds equal the sample mean.

7. Enter the Sample Size (n)

Sample size represents the number of observations used to calculate the sample mean.

It is represented by:

Sample size affects the standard error through the square root of n.

In general, increasing the sample size reduces standard error and produces a narrower confidence interval when the other values remain unchanged.

8. Select the Confidence Level

A higher confidence level requires a larger critical value and therefore normally creates a wider confidence interval.

9. Understanding the Critical Value

The critical value determines how many standard errors are included on either side of the sample mean.

When Population σ is selected, the calculator obtains a critical value from the normal distribution.

For commonly used two-sided intervals, approximate z critical values include:

• 90% → 1.645
• 95% → 1.960
• 99% → 2.576

When Sample s is selected, the calculator instead determines a Student’s t critical value based on the confidence level and degrees of freedom.

10. Why the t Critical Value Can Be Larger

The Student’s t-distribution accounts for additional uncertainty caused by estimating the population standard deviation from a sample.

For smaller samples, the t-distribution has heavier tails than the normal distribution.

This usually means:

As sample size increases, the t-distribution approaches the normal distribution.

For very small samples combined with extremely high confidence levels, the required t critical value can become very large.

The calculator dynamically expands its numerical search range when finding these extreme t critical values rather than limiting the result to a small fixed maximum.

11. Calculate the Standard Error

The calculator first determines the standard error.

When population σ is known:

SE = σ / √n

When sample s is used:

SE = s / √n

For example, suppose:

• Standard deviation = 15
• Sample size = 100

Then:

SE = 15 / √100

SE = 15 / 10

SE = 1.5

The standard error describes the estimated sampling variability of the sample mean.

12. Calculate the Margin of Error

The margin of error is calculated as:

MOE = Critical Value × Standard Error

For a z-based interval:

MOE = z* × SE

For a t-based interval:

MOE = t* × SE

20. What Does a 95% Confidence Interval Mean?

A 95% confidence interval is frequently misunderstood.

Under the frequentist interpretation, the confidence level refers to the long-run performance of the interval-building procedure.

If the same sampling method were repeated many times and a 95% confidence interval were constructed from every sample, approximately 95% of those intervals would be expected to contain the true population parameter under the assumptions of the method.

Once a particular interval has been calculated, the population mean itself is treated as fixed rather than randomly moving in and out of that interval.

21. Higher Confidence Means a Wider Interval

Increasing the confidence level normally increases the critical value.

22. Larger Samples Usually Produce Narrower Intervals

The standard error contains:

As sample size increases:

That generally results in a smaller margin of error and narrower confidence interval.

However, doubling the sample size does not cut the standard error in half because the relationship involves the square root of sample size.

Enter how long you performed the activity in minutes.

The calculator accepts activity durations of up to 600 minutes for each activity segment.

Calories burned generally increase as exercise duration increases, assuming body weight and activity intensity remain the same.

4. Choose the Intensity

Each standard activity includes four intensity settings:

• Easy
• Moderate
• Hard
• Very hard

The calculator uses the selected intensity to estimate a MET value within the predefined MET range for that activity.

For example, running has a higher MET range than light walking because running generally requires substantially more energy.

The displayed MET value changes as you move the intensity control.

5. Understanding MET Values

MET stands for Metabolic Equivalent of Task.

A MET value represents the approximate energy demand of an activity relative to resting.

As a general example:

• About 1–2 MET – resting or very light activity
• About 3–6 MET – light to moderate exercise
• About 6–9 MET – vigorous activity
• 9+ MET – very vigorous activity

These are broad estimates rather than exact measurements.

Two people performing the same activity may burn different numbers of calories because of differences in body composition, fitness, technique, speed, terrain, temperature, and other factors.

6. How Calories Burned Are Calculated

For each activity, the calculator uses the following MET-based equation:

Calories ≈ MET × 3.5 × Weight (kg) ÷ 200 × Minutes

For example, suppose someone weighs 70 kg and performs an activity estimated at 6 MET for 30 minutes.

The calculation would be:

6 × 3.5 × 70 ÷ 200 × 30

This produces an estimated calorie expenditure for that activity segment.

The calculator repeats the calculation separately for every activity you add.

7. Add Multiple Activities to One Session

You are not limited to a single activity.

Select + Add activity to add additional segments to the same workout.

For example, a workout could contain:

• 10 minutes walking
• 30 minutes running
• 10 minutes walking for cooldown

Each segment can have its own:

• Activity type
• Duration
• Intensity
• MET value

The calculator estimates calories for each segment individually and then adds them together to calculate the complete session total.

8. Remove an Activity

Each activity includes a remove button.

Use it to delete an activity you no longer want included in the calculation.

The calculator always maintains at least one activity entry so you can continue building a workout without having to manually recreate the first activity.

9. Use a Custom Activity

If your activity is not included in the predefined list, choose:

Custom activity

You can then enter:

• A custom activity name
• A custom MET value

For example:

MET: 7.5

The calculator accepts custom MET values between approximately 1 and 20.

Only enter a custom MET value when you have a reasonable reference for the activity. A guessed MET value can significantly change the estimated calories burned.

10. Total Calories Burned

After selecting your activities and entering the required information, select:

Calculate session

The main result displays the estimated total calories burned during the complete workout.

For example:

428 kcal

This total is the sum of the estimated calories burned across all valid activity segments.

11. Calories Burned Per Minute

The calculator also estimates your average calories burned per minute.

The calculation is:

Calories per minute = Total calories ÷ Total workout minutes

For example:

If you burn approximately 400 calories during a 50-minute workout:

12. Calories Burned Per Hour

The calculator also provides an estimated hourly calorie-burning rate.

The calculation is:

Calories per hour = Average calories per minute × 60

This is useful for comparing the approximate energy demands of different workouts.

It does not mean you will necessarily burn that exact number of calories if the workout is extended to a full hour.

13. Overall Session Intensity

The calculator displays an overall session intensity such as:

• Low
• Moderate
• High
• Very high

For workouts containing multiple activities, the calculator uses a time-weighted average MET.

This means longer activities have more influence on the final session intensity than very short activities.

For example, a workout containing:

• 5 minutes of hard running
• 60 minutes of moderate walking

will be influenced much more heavily by the 60-minute walking segment than the short running segment.

This provides a more representative overall workout intensity than simply averaging the MET values of all activities equally.

14. Changing an Input After Calculating

If you change your:

the previous result is cleared.

You will need to select Calculate session again.

This helps prevent an older calculation from accidentally being copied or saved after the workout inputs have changed.

15. Copy Your Result

17. View Your Session Log

18. Delete Saved Sessions

Calories burned cannot be calculated perfectly from activity type, duration, body weight, and MET alone.

• Walking or running speed
• Terrain

3. Enter the desired dose per injection

Enter the hCG amount intended for one injection in international units.

4. Enter the number of injections per week

5. Calculate the liquid volume per injection

The calculator divides the desired dose by the prepared concentration.

Volume per injection (mL) = Desired dose (IU) ÷ Concentration (IU/mL)

Example using a concentration of 2,000 IU/mL and a dose of 250 IU:

250 IU ÷ 2,000 IU/mL = 0.125 mL per injection

The calculated milliliter value is the primary measurement result. Always compare it with the markings printed on the actual syringe.

6. Calculate estimated weekly hCG usage

The desired dose is multiplied by the number of injections entered for each week.

Estimated weekly amount = Dose per injection × Injections per week

Example:

250 IU × 3 injections = 750 IU per week

The calculator displays a warning when the entered weekly schedule uses more hCG than the total amount entered for the vial.

7. Calculate theoretical complete injections

The calculator divides the total hCG amount by the desired dose and rounds down to the nearest whole injection.

Theoretical complete injections = Total hCG amount ÷ Dose per injection

Example:

10,000 IU ÷ 250 IU = 40 theoretical complete injections

This is a mathematical estimate only. It does not account for liquid left in the vial, syringe dead space, transfer loss, measurement variation, or product-specific preparation instructions.

8. Calculate approximate weeks available

The number of theoretical complete injections is divided by the entered weekly injection frequency.

Approximate weeks available = Complete injections ÷ Injections per week

Example:

40 injections ÷ 3 injections per week = approximately 13.33 weeks

This value is an estimate and should not be treated as an exact medication-supply date.

9. Select an optional syringe calibration

Syringe calibration is optional. Select a calibration only when it matches the printed labeling on the syringe being used.

Available options include:

• U-100: 100 syringe units per milliliter
• U-40: 40 syringe units per milliliter

The syringe-unit estimate is calculated as follows:

Syringe-unit mark = Volume per injection (mL) × Syringe calibration

Example using 0.125 mL:

• U-100: 0.125 mL × 100 = 12.5 syringe units
• U-40: 0.125 mL × 40 = 5 syringe units

Calibration and capacity are different. A 0.5 mL syringe does not automatically mean U-50. Always read the calibration printed on the actual syringe.

10. Select an optional syringe capacity

Syringe capacity describes the maximum liquid volume the syringe can hold.

Available capacity options include:

• 0.3 mL
• 0.5 mL
• 1.0 mL
• 3 mL
• 5 mL
• 10 mL

When a capacity is selected, the calculator compares it with the required liquid volume.

Capacity percentage = Volume per injection ÷ Syringe capacity × 100

If the required volume exceeds the selected capacity, the calculator displays a warning.

11. Understand the small-volume warning

The calculator displays a warning when the calculated volume is below 0.01 mL.

7. Calculate the relative syringe position

Syringe position percentage = Volume per injection ÷ Syringe capacity × 100

Example using 0.30 mL in a 1 mL syringe:

0.30 mL ÷ 1 mL × 100 = 30% of the syringe capacity

This percentage is only a visual guide. The value that should be checked against the actual syringe is the calculated liquid volume in milliliters.

8. Review the syringe-capacity warning

If the calculated volume is larger than the selected syringe capacity, the calculator displays a warning that the syringe is too small.

For example, a calculated volume of 1.25 mL cannot fit inside a 1 mL syringe. The calculator will recommend selecting a syringe with a capacity of at least 1.25 mL.

Do not split, combine, or change an injection schedule solely because of a calculator warning. Confirm the appropriate syringe and injection instructions with a qualified healthcare professional.

How the VO₂ Max Calculator Works

The VO₂ Max Calculator estimates the maximum amount of oxygen your body can use during intense exercise. VO₂ max is normally expressed in milliliters of oxygen per kilogram of body weight per minute, or mL/kg/min.

You can choose from four calculation methods. Each method uses different information to estimate your aerobic fitness level.

1. Choose an estimation method

Select one of the following methods:

• HR-based: Uses your age and resting heart rate.
• Cooper 12-minute test: Uses the distance covered during a 12-minute run.
• 1.5-mile run: Uses the time needed to complete a 1.5-mile run.
• Rockport one-mile walk: Uses your age, sex, weight, one-mile walking time, and ending heart rate.

2. Enter your age and sex

Enter your age and select your sex. These details are used to compare the estimated result with the calculator’s age- and sex-based fitness ranges.

Age is also used to estimate maximum heart rate and calculate the displayed heart-rate training zones.

3. HR-Based Method

The HR-based method first estimates maximum heart rate using the Tanaka equation:

Estimated HRmax = 208 − (0.7 × age)

The calculator then compares estimated maximum heart rate with resting heart rate:

Estimated VO₂ max = 15.3 × (HRmax ÷ resting heart rate)

Example for a 40-year-old with a resting heart rate of 60 bpm:

HRmax = 208 − (0.7 × 40) = 180 bpm

VO₂ max = 15.3 × (180 ÷ 60) = 45.9 mL/kg/min

For a more representative resting heart rate, measure it while relaxed and before exercise, caffeine, or other activities that may temporarily raise it.

4. Cooper 12-Minute Run Method

Run or walk as far as you safely can in 12 minutes and enter the total distance in meters.

The calculator uses:

Estimated VO₂ max = (distance in meters − 504.9) ÷ 44.73

Example for a distance of 2,400 meters:

(2,400 − 504.9) ÷ 44.73 = approximately 42.4 mL/kg/min

Use a measured track or reliable GPS distance when possible. Pacing, weather, terrain, fatigue, and measurement accuracy can affect the result.

5. 1.5-Mile Run Method

6. Rockport One-Mile Walk Method

Walk one mile as quickly as you can safely without running. Immediately record your finishing heart rate and enter:

• Your age
• Your sex
• Your weight in kilograms
• Your one-mile walking time in decimal minutes
• Your heart rate at the end of the walk

The calculator converts kilograms to pounds and applies the Rockport formula:

Estimated VO₂ max = 132.853 − (0.0769 × weight in pounds) − (0.3877 × age) + (6.315 × sex value) − (3.2649 × time) − (0.1565 × ending heart rate)

The sex value used by this equation is:

• 1 for male
• 0 for female

Measure your ending heart rate as soon as possible after completing the walk because it begins falling during recovery.

7. Read Your Estimated VO₂ Max

The result is displayed in mL/kg/min. A larger result generally indicates greater aerobic capacity, but comparisons should account for factors such as age, sex, health, training background, testing method, and environmental conditions.

The calculator also displays a general classification such as:

• Low
• Below average
• Average
• Good
• Very good
• Elite

These classifications are general reference categories and should not be interpreted as a diagnosis or individual medical assessment.

8. Understand the Heart-Rate Zones

The calculator estimates maximum heart rate using:

HRmax = 208 − (0.7 × age)

It then displays five approximate training zones:

• Zone 1 — Recovery: 50% to 60% of estimated maximum heart rate
• Zone 2 — Endurance: 60% to 70%
• Zone 3 — Tempo: 70% to 80%
• Zone 4 — Threshold: 80% to 90%
• Zone 5 — VO₂ and sprint work: 90% to 100%

Age-based maximum-heart-rate equations provide estimates only. Your actual maximum heart rate may be higher or lower, and medications, medical conditions, temperature, hydration, stress, and fatigue can affect heart-rate responses.

9. Why Results May Differ Between Methods

Each method estimates VO₂ max from different information. It is normal to receive different results from the heart-rate, running, and walking methods.

Possible reasons include:

• Inaccurate distance or time measurements
• An unusually high or low resting heart rate
• Fatigue, illness, heat, humidity, altitude, or dehydration
• Different levels of running or walking efficiency
• Medication or health conditions that affect heart rate

How the Peptide Calculator Works

The calculator uses the peptide amount in the vial, the amount of diluent added, and the desired dose to determine the concentration, liquid volume per dose, syringe marking, and number of complete doses available.

1. Calculate the concentration

Concentration (mg/mL) = Peptide amount (mg) ÷ Diluent volume (mL)

Example: A 10 mg vial mixed with 2 mL of diluent has a concentration of 5 mg/mL.

2. Convert the desired dose to milligrams

If the dose is entered in micrograms, the calculator converts it to milligrams:

Dose in mg = Dose in mcg ÷ 1,000

Example: 250 mcg equals 0.25 mg.

3. Calculate the liquid volume per dose

Volume per dose (mL) = Desired dose (mg) ÷ Concentration (mg/mL)

Using the example above: 0.25 mg ÷ 5 mg/mL = 0.05 mL per dose.

4. Calculate the syringe marking

Syringe units = Volume per dose (mL) × Syringe calibration

For a U-100 syringe: 0.05 mL × 100 = the 5-unit mark.

For a U-40 syringe: 0.05 mL × 40 = the 2-unit mark.

5. Calculate doses per vial

Doses per vial = Total peptide amount (mg) ÷ Desired dose (mg)

Example: 10 mg ÷ 0.25 mg = 40 complete doses.

Important: Syringe calibration and syringe capacity are different. Calibration determines how many syringe units equal 1 mL, while capacity is the maximum amount the syringe can hold.
